Get answers to common questions about Combo Brows / Microshading.
Combo Brows / Microshading generally lasts 2–3 years. Longevity depends on skin type, sun exposure, and skincare routine. Annual or biannual refreshers help maintain color and definition as pigments naturally fade over time.
The initial 6-week touch-up is not included in the base price. We recommend scheduling a 6-week follow-up to perfect shape and pigment. Additional touch-ups after that are available to maintain results.
Avoid coffee, caffeine, alcohol, aspirin, and ibuprofen for 24 hours before your appointment. Arrive with a clean face, avoid recent chemical peels or exfoliation, and let us know about medications or medical conditions.
Healing includes initial darkness, slight swelling, scabbing, and gentle flaking over 7–14 days. Color softens as skin heals; full pigment settling takes several weeks. Follow aftercare to prevent infection and ensure optimal results.
Most clients report mild discomfort rather than intense pain. We apply topical numbing to minimize sensations. Sensitivity varies, but the procedure is generally well tolerated and brief breaks are offered as needed.
Yes, but oily skin can affect pigment retention and crispness of hair strokes. Shading in the combo technique improves longevity; you may need more frequent touch-ups. A consultation will determine the best approach for your skin type.
