Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Microblading.

Microblading typically lasts between one and three years depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and aftercare. Annual fading is normal; many clients schedule touch-ups to maintain color and definition. A 6-week initial touch-up is often recommended but not included in base price.

Most clients report mild discomfort rather than sharp pain. We apply topical numbing to minimize sensation during the procedure. Sensitivity varies by individual; discuss concerns beforehand and we’ll adjust numbing to keep you comfortable throughout the appointment.

Avoid coffee, caffeine, alcohol, aspirin, and ibuprofen for 24 hours before your appointment, as they can thin blood. Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows, and inform us of medications or medical conditions to ensure safe, optimal results.

Follow a gentle aftercare routine: avoid water, sweating, saunas, and makeup on brows for the first week. Apply recommended ointment sparingly, avoid picking scabs, and protect brows from sun exposure. Proper care supports pigment retention and healing.

Yes — microblading creates hair-like strokes to mimic natural brow hairs, ideal for sparse or thin brows. Skin type affects retention; oily skin may require more frequent touch-ups. We customize design and pigment selection to achieve the most realistic appearance.
