Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Arm Half Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles, hormones, and individual care. Regular waxing can reduce hair density and often extends intervals between appointments.

Some discomfort is normal, especially for first-timers, but sessions are brief. Our estheticians employ calming techniques and products to minimize pain. Sensitivity usually lessens with regular waxing and proper aftercare.

Arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions or oils and hair about one quarter inch long. Gently exfoliate a day or two before and avoid retinoids to improve results and reduce irritation.

Avoid hot baths, heavy sweating, sun exposure, and exfoliation for 24 to 48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or recommended post-wax lotion, wear breathable clothing, and exfoliate gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.

Waxing can sometimes lead to ingrown hairs if dead skin traps regrowth. Prevent by regular gentle exfoliation, moisturizing, and professional technique. We can recommend products and treatments if you are prone to ingrowns.

Downtime is minimal; mild redness or sensitivity can occur but usually resolves within a day. Avoid sun exposure and vigorous exfoliation for 24 to 48 hours, and contact us for prolonged irritation or concerns.
