Some discomfort is normal, especially on sensitive areas, but most clients describe brief stinging. We use high-quality wax, expert technique, and pre/post-care to reduce pain. Take over-the-counter pain reliever an hour before if sensitive, and avoid caffeine to lower sensitivity.

Clean skin is essential: arrive makeup-free and exfoliate gently 48 hours before to prevent ingrown hairs. Avoid sun exposure and retinoids for several days prior. Let hair be at least quarter-inch long for effective waxing; otherwise, results may be uneven.

Avoid heat, heavy exercise, saunas, and sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers and avoid harsh exfoliants for 48 hours. Apply a soothing aloe or antibacterial post-wax lotion if redness occurs, and avoid makeup directly on waxed areas the same day.

Most clients return every 4-6 weeks depending on hair growth and personal preference. Regular waxing weakens follicles, leading to finer regrowth and longer intervals between appointments. We recommend starting with monthly visits, then adjusting based on how quickly your hair returns.

Waxing may not be recommended for severely sunburned, irritated, or broken skin, active acne cysts, recent chemical peels, or certain skin conditions like eczema or rosacea flare-ups. Disclose medications and any skin treatments so we can recommend safe alternatives or delay waxing.

Our full-face waxing service is $35 plus tax and includes brows, lip, and sideburn areas. Additional areas or bespoke shaping may incur extra charges. We’ll discuss expectations and any add-ons before starting to ensure transparent pricing and satisfaction.
