Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Underarms Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for two to four weeks, depending on hair growth, hormones, and aftercare. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and lengthen intervals between visits. We will recommend an ideal schedule based on your results.

Some sensitivity is normal, but our skilled technicians use fast, precise waxing and soothing pre- and post-care to minimize pain. Avoid caffeine, exfoliate gently beforehand, and apply a cool compress after to reduce redness and discomfort.

Ensure hair is at least a quarter-inch long (about two weeks growth), avoid heavy lotions or antiperspirants, gently exfoliate two days before, and arrive with clean, dry skin. Tell us about allergies or medications that affect skin sensitivity.

Waxing can occasionally lead to ingrown hairs, especially if hair is curly or skin isn't exfoliated. Prevent them by regular gentle exfoliation starting a few days after waxing, moisturizing, and using products with salicylic acid as recommended by your technician.

There’s minimal downtime. Avoid hot showers, intense workouts, and deodorants for 24 hours to reduce irritation. Apply soothing aloe or recommended post-wax balm, wear breathable clothing, and contact us if you notice persistent redness, swelling, or signs of infection.

Avoid deodorant immediately before your appointment; clean, product-free skin helps the wax adhere. If you have sensitive skin, inform your technician — we use gentle waxes and perform patch tests when needed to ensure safe, comfortable results.
